You can’t make a historically sound Divine Right of Kings argument against the American Revolutionary War since it wasn’t a concept espoused by King George III. He was in the line of Hanoverian kings established on the condition that they reject such concepts, following the English Civil War, the parliamentary government from 1649 to 1660 and the Glorious Revolution of 1688… In fact the concept was more favoured by the French, allies of the American Revolutionaries.
