Ask An Atheist

In our second season, Ask an Atheist now appears on TV in Seattle twice a week!   In addition to our live Sunday airing, we’ve been picked up for a re-run slot!

Re-runs air on SCAN, (check the chart to the left for the channel number) on Mondays at 6PM.   If your schedule precludes you from catching us when we’re live, now you have another option.

Sadly, due to the nature of entropy and the arrow of time, we will be unable to answer your phone calls during the re-run.   If you would like to ask us a question during this time, please call our voice mail line and we’ll put your question on a future show.

I updated the look of the site a little bit, to reflect the new into for the show. Makes it a little more colorful, I think.

I also added the voice mail number over on the left there. If you don’t want to email us, call us! Anytime! Reflect on the difference between the voice mail line, and the live call in number.

Also reactivated the Facebook thing.   Don’t know how that shut off.

Taking a cue from our beneficent fore-bearers at The Atheist Experience, today at 2 PM I’m going to shut off the stereo, kick the cat outside and ask Jesus to enter my life. If Ray Comfort and his ilk are correct, if I ask with sincerity and keep myself open to the Holy Spirit, I will experience a spontaneous conversion.

I’m going to try my HARDEST to purge any sarcasm or ulterior agenda from my thoughts, so that I can be as open as possible to the word of God. Wish me luck! (er, or not luck, I suppose)

Update:Nothing to see here. I was hoping that my cat, Yoshi, would wake up and blink at me in some strange way, or that I would get some kind of life-changing email, or a knock at the door. Nah. Well, you can’t say that I didn’t try.

Blogger and author Greta Christina is on an atheism-related speaking tour of the Pacific Northwest. She’s agreed to stop by the set of Ask an Atheist this Sunday, September 12th for an interview and some Q&A with the viewers.

Unfortunately, due to scheduling constraints, the segment will not be aired live on SCAN’s channel or feed. We will, however, be carrying the conversation live on our audio feed after our regular show, and we’ll be airing the recording at a future date.
