  • The Guy That Showed Up After

By now, most of you have seen the video of the son of two women, speaking in Iowa. But did you hear about the guy who spoke after him?

    Here’s the original:

And I’m being told that this is the follow up:

That would be religious privilege, ladies and gentlemen! Do it because my interpretation of god says so!

This has something to do with a thing I’m working on, but I thought I would share this now.

    Thanks, 3Ninjas!

    • I absolutely love when people who think they’re sharing a message of love are completely oblivious to the fact that they’re actually threatening you.

    • The arrogance of this little prick… “I come before you in the name of the lord.” But apparently he was more compelling to the Iowa House than Zach Wahls who actually gave a touching, rational firsthand account how gay couples have normal families and raise good children because afterwards the Iowa House passed this resolution to ban gay marriage.

Maybe we should take his cue and write our own “holy” book. Write in our book it’s inspired by god, that god loves and accepts gay couples, it is forbidden to discriminate against gays, and His word is true. Oh, and just to squash any disputes when we go before a legislature on whose “holy” book must guide our civil laws, our book will explicitly state that the bible is not the word of the one true god, and ours is. The legislators will surely say, “oh, your book says that? Ok, god has spoken. Case closed.” // end sarcasm

He doesn’t even show any shame or hold back from saying gays are worth of death. This is infuriating! But unfortunately for this contemptible, brainwashed faith head, this resolution has little chance of even being allowed for a vote in the Iowa Senate, which is the next of several hurdles it has to jump before it can even be put on a ballot.

    • Hmm. I know banning shellfish wasn’t up for a vote, but the people who eat them were *also* an abomination. At least according to the bible.

What a sanctimonious ass-hat. But I guess it’s true- god thinks like you!

    • Am I crazy, or did the guy in the second video seem like he was actually advocating the killing of homosexuals?

    • Interesting that, despite having strong feelings about the issue, God sends a mouthpiece to make his views known instead of making a personal appearance.

    • So if god is all powerful why does he need some unconvincing prick to communicate through????

    • Wait a minute. Is that goofy religious zealot wearing a woman’s suit?
